   Went on a Saturday night high season. Nice outdoor dining. Took waitstaff about 30min. to bring our wine. They were apologetic and said they could not find the bottle we ordered. I ordered the seafood special. We were a group of 4 and others ordered steak and pasta. It took over 2 hours to finally get our food. Our waiter kept coming by noticing that we were wondering what the problem was. The waiter kept saying that the chef was backed up. Once the food arrived, my fish was not cooked throughout. I was not "fresh" and I suspect it had been frozen. One other person in my party ordered the veal and he said his portion was small and just covered up with sauce. Once we finished our entrees, we paid and left and went to a nearby ice cream parlor for dessert. We will not be back. Not sure if they had a lack of cooking staff or what but the restaurant needs some help with managing orders and cooking. The building itself is nice and the location is high rent and clean. Plenty of patrons there.

   Even though they had a rehearsal dinner outside the service was great. Our server brought us a wonderful surprise of her pierogies, a perfect evening for the 6 of us.

   My Mom had gone a few times with friends and fell in love. She and I now went when I was in town, and I must say this is a 5-star, quaint, a gold nugget away from the hustle and bustle of the beachside of Vero. The owners are interactive, making sure all are attended to. Coming from someone who has many restaurants in my local hometown of Miami, that says a lot. The owner even helped me with my mom who is in a wheel chair out to the car. I will be going back soon and if I lived in Vero, I would go once a week.

   First time at the restaurant. Italian/French cuisine. Portions small, up charge for eliminating starch and doubling veggies which weren’t informed about. Double veggies were 3 carrots and 3 string beans for a $3 up charge. Bills written by hand. Math was off. Could have been an honest mistake but I’m always leery of hand written dinner tabs. Learned my lesson in the Bahamas. Notorious for padding bills every restaurant we dined in. Not sure we’d go back to Chef Frenchie’s. Liked the menu and the food was tasty but not at those prices and portions.
