   The food and service were excellent. Because I had a Groupon my daughter and wife were hesitant. But they loved it!

   We found this place when searching online and booked on a whim. It did not disappoint. The ambiance was wonderful, the food amazing and the service excellent. A treat, in every way. Thank you for a great evening

   The ambiance was great, and the food was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles, and my friend had the fish and grits.

   Chez Omar Restaurant is a good place to go for dinner or small social get together. It has a separate bar from the dining area. The dining area was quaint and clean. It's a great place for private dining. The food and beverages were great, especially the crab cake. The only issue we had was there was no heat in the place. We had to eat with our coats on. This was my first time going, so I would return to see how it is in better condition.

   I enjoyed the food and am happy to have this new charming Caribbean restaurant in the neighborhood. The staff were very nice. The cocktails were inconsistent, with some quite tasty while others not good.

   The restaurant was beautiful nice ambiance and the service was great. However my steak was very tough and the food was cold by the time we got it. The place itself was very very cold, which may have made the food cold. They ran out the of the mimosas so we had rum punches which were okay.

   The setting is cozy with a laid back vibe allowing my friend and me to enjoy our conversation. It was the perfect place to be after seeing the Ailey exhibit at the Whitney Museum. Everything from the drinks to our appetizers to our entrees and dessert was delicious. For my appetizers, I had the crab cake, which was perfect. My friend had the pot of steamed mussels, which were tender and juicy. We both enjoyed the escovich branzino that was amazing. For dessert, the hot apple pie was incredible. Only the service was a little slow, but it was a Thursday evening, only one server was working , and we were not in a rush. Chez Omar is now one of my favorite restaurants! I will be back soon and have already started to spread the word.

    Found this restaurant last minute and because of great reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was so so. We wanted to order scallops and the pan seared branzino and both unavailable. I wanted the dirty martini which has Grey Goose vodka but no Grey Goose available too.
