   Our experience at Chop was disappointing from the start. We arrived at 7:27 PM for a 7:30 PM reservation but weren’t seated until 8:20 PM. The staff struggled to clear tables efficiently and lost track of check-ins, seating people out of order, which frustrated many guests. For appetizers, we ordered French fries, Fondue, and Bang Bang Shrimp. The fries were good, and the kids were happy to have something to eat after the long wait. The fondue, however, was awful—the "pretzel bites" were bland, and the sausage was undercooked and cold. The Bang Bang Shrimp was the only appetizer with decent flavor. The kids ordered mac and cheese and grilled cheese. One initially wanted a cheeseburger but opted for grilled cheese since they didn’t have pickles. The mac and cheese lacked flavor and barely had any cheese, while the grilled cheese had a strange tart aftertaste. For entrées, we ordered two filet mignons medium-rare, and they arrived cooked as requested with good flavor. The broccolini was decent, though it had an odd, plastic-like cheese topping that thankfully peeled off. The ribs were the best dish of the night—tender with great sauce. Service was good once we were seated, but the 50-minute wait after our reservation tainted the entire experience, especially since we were celebrating a birthday. Unfortunately, the food did little to make up for the frustrating start. Overall, it was a poor experience, and I wouldn’t recommend Chop.

   Sandy scallops. Ick. Main courses were brought out before we got our salads. Had asked for no bacon on salads, but they were amply covered in bacon. Scallops & salads were removed from bill, but quite a buzzkill on what was supposed to be a fun friends night out. No one from management addressed us.

   New menu, newer (and better) staff, better table lighting then previous option, food & drink orders are taken quickly and served quickly as well. This restaurant has been consistent for the last year that I've been visiting and I love it. Still my all time favorite place to eat amazing quality food!

   Our first time at Chop in Chandler. Overall a pretty good experience and service was good. I had the filet, flavors were good but it was under cooked. I ordered medium and it was more rare in the middle. Hubby ordered the Maui Ribeye and he was happy with it. We were not impressed with the sides (creamed spinach and brussels sprouts), neither of us liked them. I also got mushrooms with my steak, it was really flavorful however a very tiny portion for the price. The kids had the grilled cheese, mac and cheese and ribs. They enjoyed the mac and cheese the most, and the ribs were a bit dry. We also had the Smoked beer cheese fondue, which we all enjoyed. The kids enjoyed the cheese fondue and pretzels with it. Overall a good experience and we'll probably go again to try the other dishes.

    This used to be our favorite place for a nice dinner. They’ve changed the menu within the last couple months and the whole experience feels like it’s gone down hill. Before we used to get bread and butter to start (can’t remember if it was complimentary), we weren’t offered it this time. They replaced mashed potatoes with rice pilaf. What steakhouse doesn’t have mashed? I was excited for their broccolini until it came out with globs of pre shredded cheddar cheese and it was microwaved so long the broccolini was tough. The steak was still phenomenal but all in all the dinner was fair. Sadly we probably won’t be back.
