What an amazing roast sugar pork roast was amazing and so delicious very different then what I was expecting but was so much better what a lovely serve I had big shout out to Erin thanks so much for making my day so special

The Sunday roast for 2 with the sharing beef was amazing perfect for us, wish we have more space for a pudding. only thing I could fault was the restaurant was a wee bit cold

Service was good and set menu seemed to be good value for money but our main meals were room temperature and sauce portions very small. Overall just ok and expected far better.

We went for the steak frites deal which is available between 4pm-6pm. Steak was delicious and we were happy with the value, although of course you get a little less steak than if you were ordering the normal menu. The service was really stand out- I don’t know how they recruit but everyone was brilliant. They had personality, were so happy and attentive and made the night really fun. My only complaint? We were a bit cold! It’s in a very old building and partly it’s the nature of it but when we went along to Brewdog after they said they often get folk who comment that. Wouldn’t put me off- I’d just wear an extra layer next time! I’d highly recommend a visit.

Really underwhelming, steaks were ok. Bernaise sauce was served chilled, i would have preffered warmed. Pretty poor if you are celiac, no starters or desserts available to you. Also if celiac they cook the onion rings etc in the same fryer as the chips so you can't havd those either. There fore the side option you can have is mash and gravy... the mash tasted really processed and possibly heated up in a microwave. Similarly the gravey was pretty tasteless. The garlic mushrooms were delicious. I will say the service was good and the cocktails lovely.

Very disappointing visit. The steak was chewy and so bland. Hand cut chips had no seasoning at all, again very bland and also full of bad parts of the potato (loads of black bits). Kids mac and cheese was probably the tastiest thing we had. Was really looking forward to this meal, but unfortunately a huge let down. Probably one of the worst steaks I’ve had in Edinburgh.
