CHOP was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with energetic rooms, stylish décor, and an award winning patio accompanied by friendly hospitality. The restaurant is currently under renovations, but you would never know, as they do a great job at containing it. It is clean and the staff are efficient. They are professional but could read the table well and were able to adapt to our energy. The food, well, it's way better then other steak restaurants! Our party was 6 people and 5 ordered steaks, all different ways, no one was disappointed. I strongly recommend this venue for your nights out.

I have always liked Chop for its non-complicated dishes, location, and ambience. While our overall experience was great, there are few issues that need to be addressed: -The signature mushroom truffle steak was too salty - a table needs to be wiped by a server in between meals (or at least before the desert is served) - it kind of went unnoticed when I brought it up - great Christmas secure outside of the restaurant and a beautiful tree inside!

My prime rib was all fat and they brought me another one. That one was over cooked.

Team was extremely welcoming, quick to greet, seat and serve. Sat in Lounge and had a wonderful lunch with business guest. Menu has options for every taste. Highly recommend dining with Chop.

Once again exceptional service as always and they always go out of there way to please. Server was very aware didn’t have to call over because he recognized I was looking for him. Kudos to the team.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a special occasion with my kids at Chop Steakhouse & Bar, and I must say, it was an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish! But what truly made this evening stand out wasn’t just the fantastic food – it was the exceptional service we received, especially from our waitress, Yara. From the moment we sat down, Yara made us feel like we were her top priority. She was so attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. My kids can sometimes be a bit picky, but Yara was incredibly patient and sweet with them. She took the time to engage with them, suggesting kid-friendly options and even bringing them a little surprise treat to make their experience extra special. Her warmth and genuine care had them smiling the entire time, which really made a difference for me as a parent. It's rare to find someone who makes such a strong connection with customers, especially with children, but Yara did it effortlessly! She also made sure I was completely satisfied with my meal, checking in regularly without being intrusive, and offering thoughtful suggestions for pairing. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she always had a smile on her face, no matter how busy the restaurant got. It's clear that Yara is passionate about her work and truly cares about the people she serves. In a time when service can sometimes feel rushed or impersonal, Yara's dedication to ensuring that every detail was perfect really stood out.
