   I placed our reservation through open table for the only remaining evening time available of 8:30 pm. To be fair, it was New Years Eve so they were busy. But reserved several days in advance, didn’t get the window table requested. After waiting apx 20 minutes giving the previous patrons opportunity to finish-we were advised the kitchen would be closing soon, so we opted for regular table. Waiter appeared overwhelmed as he had to retake our drink order and returned to tell us out of baked potatoes. We just felt like it wasn’t a good time to dine there and felt rushed. It was not our first time dining here-the food is good and service typically smoother. Probably should not offer reservations that late if diners are rushed through their meals. Our take away from the experience-don’t take the late time slot on our next visit.

   I know it was New Years Eve but service was extremely slow. Our drinks took forever to come from the bar. When I ordered my 2nd cocktail it tasted like watered down mixer. I didn’t drink it. The food was very good. They forgot our appetizer but did comp it at the end of our meal which was nice.

   Food as always, was excellent! I didn’t catch our servers name, he was a younger black man… he was FANTASTIC! I have had him as a server once before and had the exact same experience. It really is one of my favorite restaurants. I’m not from NC, I moved here about two years ago and every time someone comes to visit, we go there for lunch or dinner, my friends and family love it as well!!

   Reagan was amazing! Could not have timed our dinner better. She was amazing! The food was delicious. Great time!

   Best crab cakes I've had in a long time. As good, maybe better than those I've had in Charleston.

   Minor issues and overall we were satisfied. I ordered the 6 oz Southwestern Chicken breast. The breast was very thin resulting in it being on the dry side and lacking in flavor, perhaps the larger portion would be better but I would not order the smaller portion again. My wife’s chopped salad was not chopped, just seemed to be a regular salad. Minor issues I guess but the one major problem all 3 of us was the water. Tasted very heavy chlorine/chemical and none of us were able to drink it. Luckily we had other drinks. They need to look into that for sure. Overall though we would return.

   A great meal for our low key Christmas Eve dinner. Staff was attentive and food was delicious. Happy to support this special Ktown business

    The 16 oz prime rib was really small with a huge chuck of fat much larger than normal. We ask for more bread when the meals were delivered and never received it. Key lime pie was like a cheap store bought pie. Charged deferent prices for the same bar drink as well as charged for extra butter on my baked potato as I ordered it with no sour cream and extra butter. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at this restaurant.
