   Had Another Good Night (AGN) at the Chophouse. Took some friends that had never been there. They were much impressed with the service and ambiance. Oysters, Crab Salad, Salmon, Chicken, carrots and mushrooms were our choices. Bad Boy Oysters were terrific. Everyone enjoyed their food along with wine & cocktails. It was a Friday evening so there was entertainment. We will continue our string of going to the Chophouse every Friday night. Lou L

   Anita was our server and she was excellent! She gave great insight into the menu, her suggestions were spot on and she was very kind. We went Valentine’s weekend and all the ladies received a rose upon entering the restaurant. So sweet and truly set the ambiance. The food was well seasoned and served in a timely manner. Portion sizes are average even for the shared dishes but definitely fed us fine. There were no leftovers. Great date night! We will return and refer others!

   Outstanding service and superb food. Wonderful Valentines Dinner out. Super attentive and polite staff. Our second visit here when we have vacationed here at the island. Can’t wait to return.

   We had the best experience with Manny behind the bar. The food and service were excellent. My new favorite local place! The crab cake appetizer was delicious. My lobster tail was cooked perfectly and my husband’s surf and turf was great.

   Seated promptly even though we were 10 minutes early and they were still vacuuming…also a chilly night, and as we were seated near an outside door, got a bit cold a couple times that they out while we were there, once they were moving furniture, and second time chef requested to let smoke out! Service and food were very good. We selected the hangar steak and the filet. The filet was buttery soft and perfectly cooked. The hangar steak was seasoned well and cooked perfectly, just a bit chewy though. Asparagus delicious, mashed potatoes good but not remarkable. Would definitely get the filet again, and would return.

   First time dining at The ChopHouse and it was excellent! We enjoyed the prix fixe menu during Restaurant Week although the regular menu was also available. The service was friendly, professional and timed perfectly. The food was perhaps our best ever… salmon, filet mignon and chicken parmigiana. It was a lovely family night for us and we hope to return soon.

    We made reservations about a month in advance and were really looking forward to it. This was a birthday dinner and mentioned in the reservation. First, we were seated on the other side of the bar area, which was very loud, we could't even talk and hear each other sitting across the table. After 15-20 minutes we were moved. At no point in that time we saw or were greeted by our server. At the new table, it was another 10-15 minutes before our server came over. No proper greeting - the whole experience felt very awkward and like we were an inconvenience. We didn't know 'restaurant week' was taking place and ended up ordering from the special menu. We had Caesar and the wedge salad - both great. Prime rib and chicken Parm were both good, as well as the sides, mushrooms and whipped potatoes. For dessert only the flour less cake was available which was delicious! Portion sizes were big, so we were taking left-overs home. Part of our food was not put in our to-go bag, which we didn't realize until the next day. There was no acknowledgement of a 'happy birthday'. Also, for the special menu, automatic 22% tip was included. Which is not a problem, but the service we received did not warrant it. But if your tip is guaranteed, maybe you don't care if the service you give is still excellent. Ultimately a very disappointing experience for a restaurant of this caliber.
