    The Chophouse is a great addition to Nocatee. The drinks were reasonably priced and apps were fantastic. Steak was good, and priced as you would expect for a steakhouse. Excited to try the rooftop. Think it will be great for apps and a good bottle of wine

    First time visiting during their soft opening. Service was fantastic and the food was amazing! Can’t wait to go back. Nocatee needed an upscale restaurant and this place did not disappoint!

    We’ve been waiting for this restaurant to open in Nocatee for over a year! It did not disappoint! The rooftop overlooking the lake, with a more casual menu and sports on TV, had plenty of seating for drinks or dining. Downstairs features the full menu and has a separate quiet bar and fairly quiet dining room. We started with the focaccia and it was so good with tapenade and herb butter. Then a filet mignon with truffle butter was one of the best I have had. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the sides added to the dish. The ala cart hash browns were a little greasy but still tasty. The waiter, Taylor, was so attentive and friendly. Upstairs, the bartender Mike was knowledgeable and approachable and friendly. The bill was over $200 for 2 but we expected that for drinks and a large meal. Great job, ChopHouse, and welcome to Nocatee!

    The food and service were excellent. Lots of side choices which is good, since the menu is a la carte. Food came out quickly and we didn’t feel rushed to eat. The restaurant was very chilly but other than that the atmosphere was nice.

    Considering they opened 4 days ago they got it figured out. The service was outstanding and the food was prepared to perfection

    I would rate it a 8 out 10, steak was great and cooked perfect(14 oz NY Strip). Drinks were great, salad had way too much dressing on it. Service was great, We sat in the back room and the tables were a little close together for me, I will ask for a booth next time. Prices overall are you would expect at a high end steakhouse like Capital Grille or Ruth Chris, our bill was $208 after tip and that covered 4 drinks, 1 app, 1 salad, and 1 entree, we split the steak because it was huge. We went upstairs which has a bar menu, one side is reservations and the other is walk up at the bar. We will go back after they work out the kinks!

    Love that an upscale restaurant came to Nocatee! The vibe is perfect. It feels luxurious, comfortable, cozy, all the things. The upstairs patio isn’t open and I knew they’ve only been open a few days but you couldn’t tell! My water and wine glass was always full. We ate focaccia bread, steak, salmon, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, surf & turf and the seared tuna. If you order steak, you have to get the a-la-carte sides. I definitely suggest the salmon if you’re going for fish. We will be back!

    The atmosphere is the key to this place. Simply awesome. Service was spotty with the main issue being the server getting to us to take our order. Food was borderline very good but not special or to die for.

    The food and service here was amazing. Especially loved the Lobster Bisque, Surf and Turf, brussels sprouts & a loaded baked potato that is far above the rest. I happen to love potatoes and not all places do them well. And then the best test of a lot of restaurants, the creme brulee! Perfection that was only marred by the fruit garnish not being really ripe. Since this was their first week I wasn't expecting this level so I can't imagine what it will be like when they hit their groove. Only suggestions is making sure fruit is ripe and play around with the cocktails a bit. The cocktails were good but compared to the food, could use some adjustments so the restaurant hits on all cylinders. One was a bit too sweet and another too tart, though still good. And that is really trying to find something to nitpick to give some pointers as they hit their groove. Definitely make a reservation soon and don't worry about waiting until a few weeks out like some places that just opened in Nocatee. It is already amazing!
