The bone in ribeye was good. No surprises there. Because it was the Valentine‘s menu, some things weren’t available like the lobster bisque. Also, I tried the corn and it was quite mushy even though I asked if it was mushy and was told it wasn’t prior to ordering. I would not order it again. The lobster mash, and the mac & cheese were pretty good. The presentation of the desserts was less than I expected. The crème brûlée was good, but no berries on top. My husband ordered the New York cheesecake, no berries or anything. It looked like it came out of a package and was put on a plate. Again, maybe it was because it was a set menu for Valentines. The service was A1 and our waiter was very attentive and professional.

Review for Chops Lobster Bar – Valentine’s Day Dinner I had high expectations for Chops Lobster Bar in Atlanta, especially for a special Valentine’s Day dinner, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of what I expected for the price. The set menu was as expected—the food was cooked well, and portions were a good size. However, for nearly $1,000, I anticipated a more refined and attentive dining experience. Service was the biggest disappointment. Our server was inattentive—never refilling our water, never pouring a second glass from the bottle of wine we purchased, and failing to inform us of all the dessert options. For a high-end restaurant, that level of service is unacceptable. To make matters worse, gratuity was automatically included, which felt undeserved given the lackluster service. While the ambiance was nice and the food was solid, the overall experience did not justify the steep price tag. There are plenty of other fine dining options in Atlanta that offer better service and value. I would not return for a special occasion.

My wife’s 32nd Birthday dinner was amazing as always! The food and service were incredible and a special thanks to Francisco and Oscar! This is the best place in the state for a special celebration!!! See you soon! Bravo!

Be mindful, as a diner/customer to ask what the price of the specials are (if that matters to you). I know a5 wagyu is premium, but I was shocked that a small portion cost more than two steaks, lobster, and sides combined. Everything was delicious, as always, so this little mistake on my part won’t deter me from visiting again.

Beautiful restaurant. Riley provided awesome service. But the food was horrible. Wife and I were just hoping that the next item would be better. All horrible from the tuna tartar, ceasar salad, onion rings, porterhouse with African lobster tails. I just couldn't believe that not one item was seasoned. Ceaser taste spoiled, lobster tail taste like it came from McDonalds, steak had no salt, pepper, butter. For the money we spent($434), i will never go back. Stoney River, Ray's and Papadeaux taste 1000% better. When we tried to speak to the manager, we were told they weren't available. We did not finish one item on the table.
