We waited over an hour for our main course after our starter. The delay was blamed on a party of 30 in the other room. When our meal finally came, one was plated incorrectly - the order stated that sauce should be on the side, and it wasn’t. It was returned to the kitchen. Both meals were only just warm when served. Others near us were experiencing similar delays. The situation was badly managed - it was neither the fault of the party of 30 nor of the rest of us. No apologies or updates were given, and no offer of adjustment to the bill etc. If they couldn’t handle a large party without others being inconvenienced they should not have accepted the booking. Such a shame and so disappointing

Food was wonderful, service was friendly and welcoming even though they were all run off their feet with a table of 30!! It was a special occasion for us which was discreetly acknowledge by the team and it meant an awful lot to us. We will return without a doubt, it is a special place for us and the team helped to make this so. Thank you.

Had a great evening here with my wife and 3 year old daughter to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were great and really made a big effort to make sure that our daughter was happy and well catered for. Had a slight issue with one of the dishes that we ordered and they made it right with no fuss too. Will certainly be back again soon!

The staff were very accommodating and the food was outstanding! I was looking for an authentic Sunday roast dinner with beef and Yorkshire pudding. It was excellent and we highly recommend!

great food lovely wine. service was impressive. to be over critical would be the charge for a couple of glasses of water which was poured on arrival at our table which we didn't ask for, £3. this would not stop us going again. 2 people 3 courses each , bottle of pinot grigio , £158. hopefully they've put a lock on the mens lavatory cubicle when we return.

The service was excellent as always. Great cocktails, spicy margarita and 3 blood orange cocktails.. We chose from the monthly menu which was £38 for 3 courses. My chicken & Waldorf salad was excellent and the butter nut squash soup was tasty but not excellent. We had main courses of miso flavoured coley and roast pork. The former I thought was disappointing with the fish a little dry and not that flavoursome, whilst the pork was very good. Three tasty desserts.
