This is an interesting restaurant. It used to be a fine dining restaurant that was a very nice place for a special occasion. A while back they remodeled and it is now more like a small brewpub atmosphere. Cramped, very noisy and decorated like many other run of the mill much less pricey restaurants. The food is still good and and the prices are still fine dining - but without all of the niceties that come with fine dining. Our final cost for a dinner for two (with tip) was over $300, but we were served our “petite” appetizers in square paper bowls - really? Not fine dining all all, just fine dining prices. Can’t imagine I’ll be back.

This was quite possibly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. We had to wait for the hostess who disappeared. The waiter was slow and never checked on us. We had to flag him down each time. The manager never came to our table when requested. Now for the food: my dirty martini was lukewarm, my partner’s glass of wine tasted like vinegar. We started with shrimp cocktail and crab cakes, both were meh. The salad was over dressed and the lobster bisque tasted burnt. It was inedible. At this point we decided to cut our losses, paid our check and left. We will never return.

The good, the bad, and the ugly! The good : The ambience is very nice. Our waiter Justin was fabulous. The complimentary dinner rolls seemed to be baked fresh and are very good. We had two dinner salads, which were fresh and tasty. We also had one order of the stuffed zucchini blossoms, which were excellent. One diner had the ribeye which he said was very good. Another diner had the Marys chicken which he also said was good. The accompanying pasta to the chicken dish, was just so so, but that might have been his personal preference. The bad: We realize it’s tough for restaurants with increasing food prices. But the wine list prices here are out of control with the markup. Numerous bottles were about 4 to 5 times the retail which is over the top and really uncalled for. For that reason alone we wouldn’t go back. The ugly: One diner had the Alaskan halibut. It looked like a glorified fish stick with so much breading on it and very little halibut. The items accompanying it were almost not edible. The vegetable you couldn’t even cut with a sharp knife. We were having a business dinner so did not want to make a scene, but if I had been dining here privately I would’ve sent this dish back to the kitchen. There are a lot of other menu items so perhaps that one dish is just not the one to order. But there are so many other great restaurants in the area that sadly we won’t be returning to this location. Again, our waiter was incredible and the ambience is nice.

Good wasn’t great. Truffle fries and calamari weren’t as good as I was expecting. Shrimp and pasta were pretty bad. Stuffed mushrooms were quite good (recommended by our server). The people seating us were not very on top of things, but we did have a very nice server who helped move things along when we told her we were in a rush. Her name was Yulia. She was great. Overall I would say the food at this place shouldn’t be in the $$$ category.

The best demonico and filet out there! We have been to a lot of steak houses across the country, so this was amazing. Our server Eric was fabulous, added to our evening.

We went on a Sunday night before leaving for the airport. The service was great with the addition of superb food. We did the 3 course meal, this not only was an affordable meal, but also a wonderful dinning experience. The food was perfectly timed to arrive as we had finished our previous course. Was left not only satisfied, but in great spirits after dinning here. Would recommend to anyone passing through!
