   I’ve driven past Christo’s multiple times throughout my years of living in Phoenix, and my friend and I finally decided to take the plunge and book a reservation to celebrate her birthday. This place was amazing! Upon walking in, we were met with a smile and greeted like family by their wonderful host. Our server, I believe his name was Ryan, was superb. The bread and soup was to die for, our entrees were delicious, and multiple people checked on us throughout the night to see if everything was to our liking. I’m already planning my next trip back with my fiancé. Please come to Christo’s! This is a staple in Phoenix for a reason.

   Wow! We were beyond impressed. From our incredible, kind server Ryan to the sweet general manager and just everyone there-above and beyond. The food was delicious from appetizer to dessert. We will be back!! Thank you!

   We had 5 diners, all selected different menu items and everyone raved about the delivery, presentation and efficiency of service. Wonderful restaurant to go to for great Italian food.

   We all know about the stalwart traditional “Continental” restaurant Christo’s. And so it consistently remains and it is a pleasure to dine there. Quiet ambience—one can talk to your friends/guests/associates without having to yell or use special listening devices to hear their conversation. And the food. Yes the food remains steady, consistent and delectable. The servers are pros and service is always thoughtful and helpful. Well done again Christo’s.

   We were looking for a place to eat near an event. We were unfamiliar with the area but the Google information looked promising. This turned out to be a great find. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The place was busy but we were able to have a comfortable conversation. The food was very good and the pricing was reasonable. Well be back.

    We were seated fairly promptly on arrival by a terse unsmiling manager. The owner was far more welcoming. Water was poured very quickly by a busboy who had trouble understanding us and never smiled once throughout the evening, He was more interested in getting things done efficiently and quickly. Showed no interest in the customers. Our server came over fairly soon to tell us what the restaurant was out of, but did not bother to introduce herself. Fortunately, she was quite familiar with the menu. After ordering entrées, my wife asked for lemon rice soup instead of minestrone. She presumptuously assumed that she would put that down for both of us, so as "to make it easier." We've never had a server order for us what she thought would be easier for the kitchen or herself rather than what each customer might want instead. The soups were not bad, but nothing to write home about. The house salad did not look like it was made in-house, but from store-bought mixed greens. Fortunately, the mustard vinaigrette was good. We were not offered oil and vinegar like some other tables. The poached salmon was very good -- tender and moist. Most restaurants overcook salmon, so this was very well done. The vegetables that came with it were generous, and also tender. The osso bucco was excellent. Very tender and moist. The accompanying fettuccini was bland -- probably not cooked in sufficiently salted water. It needed the cheese to season it properly. It was also a tad overcooked. The sauce was not overly salted, so that was good. We found the flourless chocolate cake with a dark chocolate sauce beautifully prepared. It was filling despite the small size. We had to ask for it, as the server did not mention it at first. She was also able to accommodate us with an affogato which was excellent as well. In all, a very quick, efficient service. The food was good, decent. The focus was clearly on the main dishes, with little attention to the salad or soup.
