   We were seated fairly promptly on arrival by a terse unsmiling manager. The owner was far more welcoming. Water was poured very quickly by a busboy who had trouble understanding us and never smiled once throughout the evening, He was more interested in getting things done efficiently and quickly. Showed no interest in the customers. Our server came over fairly soon to tell us what the restaurant was out of, but did not bother to introduce herself. Fortunately, she was quite familiar with the menu. After ordering entrées, my wife asked for lemon rice soup instead of minestrone. She presumptuously assumed that she would put that down for both of us, so as "to make it easier." We've never had a server order for us what she thought would be easier for the kitchen or herself rather than what each customer might want instead. The soups were not bad, but nothing to write home about. The house salad did not look like it was made in-house, but from store-bought mixed greens. Fortunately, the mustard vinaigrette was good. We were not offered oil and vinegar like some other tables. The poached salmon was very good -- tender and moist. Most restaurants overcook salmon, so this was very well done. The vegetables that came with it were generous, and also tender. The osso bucco was excellent. Very tender and moist. The accompanying fettuccini was bland -- probably not cooked in sufficiently salted water. It needed the cheese to season it properly. It was also a tad overcooked. The sauce was not overly salted, so that was good. We found the flourless chocolate cake with a dark chocolate sauce beautifully prepared. It was filling despite the small size. We had to ask for it, as the server did not mention it at first. She was also able to accommodate us with an affogato which was excellent as well. In all, a very quick, efficient service. The food was good, decent. The focus was clearly on the main dishes, with little attention to the salad or soup.

   Or first visit here (it won’t be the last). Quaint, old style ristorante with a neighborhood atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. Lunch menu ample and varied (although we all had a special.). Food was ample and quite good in a home style fashion. Definitely recommend.

   Celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary here, just like our past anniversaries. I will never celebrate anywhere else for as long as Christo’s is around. Our reserved table was already prepped and ready for as soon as we arrived, and they remembered that our note about it being our wedding anniversary because they put rose petals on the table and wished us a very happy anniversary! Christo’s makes us feel like family. Our server was Cat, who we loved very much and she makes the best Shirley temples. Although it was a very busy night (not only was it Saturday, it was also Valentine’s weekend), the staff and our server Cat were very attentive. We got our drinks, table bread and soup right away. My husband and I love Saturdays because of the Greek soup. It’s the best soup I’ve ever had! For our entrees I had the chicken limone and my husband had the veal Parmesan. Dinner was fantastic and authentically Italian. We especially love Christo’s because the food is very reasonably priced for everything that’s included; each entree comes with table bread, soup and a hearty sized salad. For our anniversary, we were surprised with two slices of cake that were just amazing. It was the perfect touch to end the night. My husband and I almost forgot to have our picture taken until Cat suggested we take a photo. We love that Christo’s makes us feel like family and we will always choose to celebrate our anniversary here. We look forward to the next time!

   We have been coming here for years and any other time the review would be great including value and food. . For some reason the food vs cost (value) did not meet usual expectations. service was part of overall expectation and it did not meet usual expectations. We have been coming for years and will take this as a one off

   We had a reservation for 7. We arrived 8 minutes early. However, we were told we would have to wait. Multiple tables were seated ahead of us & 30 minutes passed. I asked if we were going to be seated anytime soon because we’d been waiting for 30 minutes. We were told a table was ready for us (go figure, because multiple people were seated ahead of us). We were seated. Once seated, we found that the menu was not what we expected. It was a single page. Only 4 appetizers were offered. The meals were 3 courses otherwise. We waited for our waiter to arrive and then let him know that we would be leaving because we were displeased with the menu. We went home hungry.
