Absolutely incredible! A real local gem! I came on a busy Sunday and it was clear that this pub is thriving! I was greeted at the door and swiftly taken over to my table where I received amazing service from Jay and Jack. The roast was to die for! Extremely reasonably priced and fantastic in quality - I managed to speak with the head chef, Ben, who was fantastic and the man behind the great kitchen. If you’re in the area, this place is a must! I’ll definitely be back!

Service was abismal took an hour too appear and several ingredients for the mixed grill were missing, mushrooms, black pudding and fried egg. French fries served instead of chunky chips

Can only give lowest rating as on arriving we noted a sign on the door advising the kitchen was closed. Whilst I appreciated these things happen, a phone call or email would have been nice to give us the opportunity to make alternative arrangements. Cannot recommend based on this experience.

Given incorrect information about the soup of the day and when the food did arrive, it was cold and had to be returned.

I was impressed with the food and it was very affordable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back and recommend to my friends.

Firstly ,your booking system is not recognised by the pubs system! They did not have our reservation! Get it sorted please. Once we got a table, the whole experience I can thoroughly recommend.
