I don't understand how such an establishment can exist in the center of Uptown Charlotte! The food is barely passable for a food court at some mediocre mall. The so-called "focaccia" was a strange kind of bread full of pepper and some indiscernible filling. The salad was full of blocks of pungent cheap cheese. Jamon was from the last century, cheap and nasty. The cheese platter had cheese on it, but it was stale and looked like it was collected from previous uses. The service was lukewarm at best. Location is the only thing going for it. But I'd rather drive elsewhere.

Only thing is really an awesome location with a modern yet warm setting. Food was mostly ok, but several items came almost at room temperature. One item had 4 pieces, and one piece was inexplicably almost cold (not room temperature). Other plates where just somewhat warm. Service was also spotty - even though they were maybe 40% capacity. Server did not explain anything on the menu. Only helped when asked about wines but nothing else - felt she was in a rush a lot. Seems they were maybe short a server this evening. Not sure I will be back yet but may give them a try if I cannot find a reservation anywhere else.

Food was superb and dining room was cozy with intimate feel but lit just enough to also lend a lively vibe. Robyn the GM provided a great welcome, and our server Eddy was one of the best in the industry. Kudos to all of the staff. Their wine list is extensive including not on theirs, but Aria restaurant next door. Only one tip: stress if you want your tapas (small plates) delivered in stages. We asked that they be staggered since we ordered a bottle of wine; however, all three arrived at once. Fortunately, we were enjoying the food and drink and ordered more but all small plates shouldn’t arrive at one time. Awesome evening and we would go many times over!

What a fabulous dinner. Small and (medium) plates were among the most delicious we’ve ever eaten. The lemon risotto was especially memorable. We order the Sancerre that matched perfectly with our three choices. This is a must go. We’ve already rebooked! Vegetarians, here’s your place.

We have eaten here several times. There were a lot of events happening Uptown this evening which may have contributed to the somewhat chaotic feel of the night. Only two servers to cover a very full seating. They did a good job considering the number of tables they covered. For the most part, food was good. Our risotto was definitely undercooked tonight but the management addressed it appropriately. The noise level was higher than usual, once again likely due to the number of people and the energy in the room. We will return but will try to avoid on nights when various activities are happening at the same time.
