Superb pasta and amazing service by chef Mario himself! We had the ubriaca, sombreri, and fettuccini. We could not pick a favorite because they all had such different flavors and all the pasta was cooked to a perfect all dente 👌🏻 couldn’t have asked for a better dinner out!

It was quite loud sitting out in the covered patio area. Getting to the table took a little longer, but I think that might have been a staffing issue so no dings for that. Once we ordered food came fast, drinks lagged a little. We got our appetizer well before wine and 2 cocktails. The bread with the spread was yummy! Squash blossoms were fantastic. All the pastas were clearly fresh made and the flavors were well balanced. I got the lobster ravioli with crab. The ricotta inside was a little dry and over-powering so it was hard to taste the crab. There was a decent amount of lobster in bite size pieces with good flavor. They fill the cannolis to order and were well liked. Everyone seemed to like their entree, but no one was raving about anything specific. I'd go again and try something else.

Some amazing dishes including the mushroom flan and red wine pasta. Another stand out is not on the menu. Come ready to eat the bread and seasoned whipped cheese spread.

Went here on Saturday after Valentines Day for a dinner. Located in a cozy neighborhood of Logan in San Diego. You would not expect what this place has to offer! We had some complimentary bread, Antipasto Misto, and Fritto Misto for appetizer The bread was good and soft, I just wish it was served hot or warm. It seems like a focaccia, if it was, I would be looking for the crunch from the crust. Olive oil and whipped ricotta l, EVOO, and balsamic combination was so good. We underestimated the antipasto. It was $12 per person and there were two of us. They gave us alot of meat and they were all explicitly good. The jam was to die for and goes with everything. Fritto Misto was cooked properly and perfectly. Just enough crunch from the breading. It comes with calamari, shrimp and bass. The combination plus marinara was simple yet addictive. For mains we had Orzotto and Lamb (Valentines special). We split both dishes so we can try everything. Orzotto was cooked perfectly. Can feel each grain of rice and the sauce was creamy with bits and pieces of shrimp and lobster. The lamb was soft and not gamey at all. Probably our favorite dish of the night. It was well seasoned and cooked beautifully. Not much words to say for an almost perfect dish combinations of the two For dessert, we had limoncello tiramisu. It was refreshing and not too sweet with just right amount of cocoa powder on top to balance out sweetness and bitterness that harmonized perfectly. My only take here is whether they used ladyfingers. Overall, everything we had and the experience was spot on. Outdoor dining area was a little cramped but resembles a lot of restaurants I’ve been in Italy. Service and attention to detail were top notch. Owner Mario Cassineri was present during our dinner. His attention to detail as well as all the servers were on point. We will definitely come back to try more of their pasta dishes

My wife and I come here every year on Valentine’s Day. Best experience by far. Service is great. Owner is extremely nice and friendly. Food is incredible. The herb marinated lamb chops were perfect. The only issue I have is with parking but that can’t be helped. 10/10 experience every time.
