We were celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday which I noted in the reservation, asking for extra nice table and a dessert with the candle. Based on the other reviews, we thought this would be a great place to celebrate for our short visit to Baltimore. After we sat down, it took for staff about 15min to bring us water, then we ordered drinks, just wine, and we didn’t get the drinks until the food came at the same time. When asking the server where are our drinks, she said this is because the printer broke and it didn’t print the order (but she couldn’t check on it earlier with the bar?). It took 40min after we sat down to get wine. When we ordered crab cakes we asked how much is the market price, she said $38, in the bill it was $48. We asked her to take a picture of us, and she said she can take away food first and she will come back to take it. She never took it. For the dessert, we had to remind them it’s his birthday, so they brought a small dessert with a candle at least. The food itself was good, but we were all really disappointed by the service, and definitely do not recommend this place for a special celebration. They were not even that busy, many empty tables around us.

Seemingly they were a bit understaffed. This was a surprise because at the time of my dining, there were only three other tables when I arrived. Our server wasn't as attentive to us, filling water glasses, seeing if we needed another cocktail shortly after finishing one, etc. We had a mishap with the Ribeye (it was well and we asked for medium (some pink)). That through off our dining experience in having to wait for another plate of food.

Food is amazing. Prices are pretty high for the rather ordinary level of service received. At these prices the servers should be more attentive and check in more frequently. Food service runner brought food in a haphazard way and seemed not to know what our order was. We had to wait extra time for some sides. That aside, this is a wonderful place with one of the best views of the Baltimore Harbor anywhere in the Harbor East area.
