We are also pouring Etude Pinot Gris, Frank Family Reserve Chardonnay & Penfolds Grandfather Rare Tawny Port. Our Culinary team is developing 5 wine paired courses to highlight these fabulous wines with our gastronomic creations

The seafood was well taken care of and the oysters specifically were meticulously clean. The waiter did an excellent job presenting all of the options in an easy to understand manner. I appreciated the guidance since there were so many options and his recommendations were absolutely perfect. Everything was cooked the way we asked and the cocktails were great too. Shoutout to the fastest bartending staff in Jax. Those drinks came out so fast. Bring your wallet, but city grille is among the top 3 restaurants in jacksonville. PS - plenty of non-seafood options so go ahead and bring that person who hates seafood.

We had everything from Oysters, Hamachi Crudo, Tuna Tartar, Duck, braised ribs- it was all excellent! Can't wait to come back.

My husband stated, "City Grill is so comfortable. They make us feel at home!" From the moment we entered we knew we would be happy. Ian gave us a choice of tables and that made getting my husband who is handicap seated quite easy. Pasha was the server and he knows us. He made suggestions and our experience was a delight. The octopus was scrumptious and I adored the apple blue cheese salad. We are bringing our son on Wednesday. We know he will fall in love with City Grill. Thank you for being in our neighborhood.

This was our first time dining at City Grille and it will definitely not be our last. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter, Pascha (sp) was so attentive and made great recommendations so that we could experience a couple of the menu options. And the food- absolutely incredible. Everything was prepared perfectly, the portions were perfect, and we never felt rushed. One of the most enjoyable dining experiences we’ve ever had in Jacksonville.

The worst steak I have ever had. If I had not been with people from out of town I would have sent it back and not paid for it. But the dog enjoyed it.

We’ve been to this restaurant a few times and we’ve had good experiences. I guess they had an off night on Tuesday. The service was poor and the food was average at best. The server forgot to put in one of our main course dishes. There was some confusion around our drink order but once they figured that out the drinks were good. Another server came over and singled us out by making a comment about how noisy we were but the entire restaurant was loud. More than likely there was a little racial profiling going on with that particular server. Just wasn’t a good look for the restaurant. The manager eventually stepped in but it was too late. At that point we didn’t feel welcomed. There’s a lot of competition in this area, will think twice before dining here again.

Branzino was delicious as was the shrimp appetizer. Salmon and steak were under cooked, however. Could have just been an off night for the chef. We will return.
