   As a group of locals who have collectively lived here for over 20+ years, this restaurant has long been one of our favorites since it opened. We’ve visited numerous times, and the food is consistently fantastic. The dishes are flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a satisfying meal. The cozy ambiance and varied menu have always kept us coming back for more. However, our most recent experience was deeply disappointing and frustrating. After finishing our meal and leaving an 18% tip($282.13 after tax - left a $50 tip)—our standard for a sub par & non stand out service—we were appalled when an additional waitress who didn’t serve us, chased us out of the restaurant, questioning our service and impolitely asking why we didn’t leave a 20% tip. From the time we sat down, we didn’t feel welcome or comfortable to be in the space.This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. We understand that tipping is a personal choice, but to be confronted and embarrassed publicly in this manner was completely inappropriate. In an attempt to address the situation, I returned to the restaurant to speak with the manager on duty. Unfortunately, I don’t believe I was actually speaking with the manager, and the person I spoke to was neither helpful nor polite. Rather than addressing the issue with any sort of professionalism or understanding, the response was dismissive, adding to the frustration of the situation. It’s a real shame because we’ve always loved the food here, but the poor service and lack of respect for customers’ choices have made us seriously reconsider returning. As a long-time local, I expect a higher standard of customer service. We hope this is an isolated incident, but we can’t recommend this place until we feel confident that the service and respect for customers’ choices will be improved. It’s unfortunate, but the way we were treated last has left a lasting negative impression.

   Loved the atmosphere, food and great service. Started with Frico and olives, then the mushroom pizza and sausage pizza, all outstanding! Thanks we’ll be back!

   I love the food and service at City House I just can't stand the acoustics. Each time Ive been, it is SO noisy that you have to speak very loudly/shout across the table to your dinner companion. And those cold metal chairs! I guess they don't want you to linger very long. I would go there more often if it weren't for the noise, best to sit out in the enclosed patio or maybe the bar. I attended French collaboration dinner which would have been an awesome event to meet new people but everyone complained about the acoustics and we couldn't exactly yell across the table to meet our new table companions. Hey they've been in business for a very long time, so they know what they're doing but just know that it is very very LOUD in the main dining room. And I don't mean "energetic" lol.

   My husband and I have been guests of City House for several years. We are from a northern state and always plan to stop in each year on our way to Florida. Never disappointed. The menu, the food, the staff……never disappointed!!

   Went for Sunday supper & was suprised with a bday celebration, food, desert, service & company were wonderful. Tandy & Sal are the best!

   This was our first visit. Nice casual atmosphere. The entire staff was friendly, the service was great, and the food was fantastic.

   Absolutely delicious food, loved the sweet potatoes more than I would have ever imagined, and everyone so friendly! We had to order three desserts because it was too hard to choose and they surpassed all expectations!

   A wonderful evening with friends! I just love this gem with its gentle city ambience, gorgeous plates of food and incredible desserts. A great place for a regular dining spot. Xo

    Every dish we ordered had unusual, subtle flavor combinations. The mozzarella cheese was gorgeous. Our server listened to what we wanted and gave us helpful information to make decisions. For example, my granddaughter asked if they had affogato on the menu and she said no but we have espresso and coconut sorbet. It was delicious!
