From the award-winning bar Civil Liberties comes Civil Works.

Deeply inspired by the building’s history, Civil Works features an imaginative Art Deco inspired design embellished with modern details. The space marries industrial charm with timeless glamour using vintage furniture and rich materials that evoke the spirit of an era. Located on the mezzanine level off Brant Street, this hidden gem overlooks the vibrant food hall below and offers a full view of the art installations floating above. The robust narrative-driven drink menu features cocktails, martinis, alcohol-free drinks, a curated selection of wine and beer, and a special menu of spirits paired with custom water inspired from regions around the world. they accommodated our weird seating request but I really didn't like the drinks and the waitress took them away full and didn't ask why which was weird. overall wouldn't take away a star for that because it was just my preference.

What a fabulous new cocktail bar! The cocktails are delicious, so creative and all have a unique story. Beautiful decor and vibe - and love that they pay tribute to the building and its history. We tried the tuna nachos and they were pretty delicious. And the service is beyond incredible- our server was so kind, knowledgeable and fun. He was warm and attentive and just made our evening a 10/10!

I enjoy trying cocktails at different bars and restaurants. Different places have different offerings and also offer different takes on the same drink. That is what brought me to Civil Works. I was very happy with the 4 different cocktails I had: - Whiskey Sour (not on the menu but my go to these days) - Spritzilla (I asked to try something sparkling) - Equilibrium (I asked to try one of their most popular drinks, btw it is also an award winning one) - Pounding Sand (I asked for their most beautiful drink) Their snack size food is of great quality (would recommend the sushi tacos charcuterie board) and very reasonably priced. The place is also exceptionally beautifully decorated. On top of all these, they have welcoming and attentive staff who made our evening that much better. We will be back with friends and out of town visitors. Highly recommend.

Our server was extremely attentive and gave great recommendations. Cocktails were complex and interesting, the room is beautiful. Everything was top notch, we had a great experience and will be back soon!

New favourite cocktail bar! Amazing music and vibes, perfect dim warm low lights. Drinks are unique and well made and attentive servers who are passionate about their craft give thoughtful recommendations and even custom creations. Will be a regular here for sure!
