We had a great meal here.Two families with kids. Food was great. They were able to accommodate our party of eight, which included three very rowdy children.

Çka Ka Qëllu was fantastic. I can see why it is on the NY Times Top 100 list. It would be perfect if they served some adult beverages, but they don't even allow BYO - I think it is because it is Halal and they want to be all the way Halal. Oh well, when in Albania... The waiter gave us much-needed help in making our choices since Albanian food was new to most of us. The bread they served were fantastic puffy little loaves that we used to eat the savory dips (we tried the sausage dip and the ajavar - red pepper dip). I could have made a meal out of the dips alone. The Mediterranean salad we crunchy and satisfying, but the meat dishes were the best part of all. There were four of us and we ordered four meat dishes: Qofta, Qepaba, Sarma, and Fasul. Qofta were seared patties of veal, onions, crushed red pepper & herbs that were delicious. Qebapa are little sausages made of ground veal with a yogurt sauce. I could have eaten four hundred of these things, but I needed to save room to try the other things. Sarma is stuffed cabbage filled with ground veal, rice, vegetables, and spices. This was excellent. Fasul is simmering white beans, onions, slowly cooked in meat. I loved this - it was like Albanian cassoulet or feijoada. I will definitely go back. I'm making a list people I need to take to dinner so I can have a reason go back often.

This places jas a cozy, authentic feel. The food is really good and, in general, it's simply a great spot.

Wonderful food. We came with knowledge about some of the dishes, but our waitress made some suggestions to us for additional things to order.. Her suggestions were delicious.

Wir (Gruppe von 5) wurden von der Dame sehr freundlich und offen empfangen. Trotz der Reservierung fürs falsche Restaurant, hat uns die Dame einen Tisch freigemacht. Der Service danach, ein junger Herr, war leider sehr enttäuschend und richtig ärgerlich. Er hat sich kaum bemüht uns zu beraten, sehr undeutlich geredet und überhaupt keine Motivation und nicht kundenfreundlich. Das Essen war ganz gut und lecker! Die Portionen für diese Preise jedoch sehr klein!!! Die Vorspeisen und warmen Hauptspeisen waren lecker, die Grillplatte jedoch viel zu klein und leider nicht von bester Qualität (vorallem das Chicken & der Sucuk). Overall ganz okay, jedoch habe ich vor 6 Jahren in der Bronx viel besser gegessen und vorallem besser bedient worden…sehr schade!
