Located in a former auto shop in the vibrant Montrose neighborhood near The Menil Collection and Museum District, Clark’s Houston is the third and largest location of our popular neighborhood oyster bar and seafood restaurant. Opened in Fall 2023, Clark’s features freshly shucked oysters, crudo, lobster roll, daily fish specials, caviar and blini, bowls of chowder and cioppino as well as a much-loved burger and shoestring fries.

The restaurant specializes in martinis and signature cocktails as well as an extensive Champagne and wine list. The design is light, bright, and airy with nautically-themed touches including a centerpiece fish tank, teak wood furniture, bright white walls, and blue and turquoise tones.

In addition to a marble-topped oyster bar and dining room, there’s a large, covered patio for prime people watching and oyster slurping. Clark’s Houston also offers a semi-private dining room for special occasions and events.

Very nice luncheon for my friend's birthday! Our server, Z, was outstanding! He even brought out a complimerntary dessert for her birthday! The food was SO good- my crab cake and her lobster roll were excellent. I will be back! thanks!

We came during happy hour and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and value. A dozen New Brunswick oysters, 5 drinks and burgers $120.

Isabella our server was very attentive and helpful with recommendations when asked. She was so sweet and kindly ended our wonderful meal with a glass of sparkling on the house. Great food and night, look forward to returning!

Delicious food and impeccable service. This was a great balance of good food, fine dining and a completely relaxed dining atmosphere. We loved it.

The place is beautiful , the food and drinks are delicious and plated great. And ask for Kat she is wonderful & knows her stuff. We will be back in our next visit to Htx after Md anderson.

Lovely ambience (we sat outside, aided by warmers and blankets provided) and professional, knowledgeable servers. Sublime oysters with specific provenance on the menu so you can choose your favorites. Delicious fish and sides. Great wine list including by the glass options.
