   The fourth or fifth time we've been and just as good as all of the previous ones. The food, as always, is amazing and the service is very friendly and efficient. We went for my wife's birthday and they made us feel special, starting with a card on arrival and then with a birthday cake at the end. Indeed, we were both full so were able to take both the cake (a gorgeous chocolate mouse) and the petit fours home.

   We choose the market menu, perfectly lovely, perfectly cooked, particularly loved the game trio…soup, terrine and Salad . If there was one minor criticism the menu was slightly unbalanced ( although you couldn’t fault the cooking) as we had game trio followed by quail breasts … perhaps some fish could have been slipped in . Service was spot on , friendly but exemplary Claude can be proud of his team both back and front

   Absolutely stunning 3 course meal (in reality more than 3 considering amouse bouche, petit fours and other freebies). Great quality and presentation of food, clasdic but innovative at the same time, with capable staff (friendly as well)

   We booked for Valentine’s Day. They took a 300£ deposit. We arrived for Our booking at 9:15. They had decided to do a 7 course tasting menu unannounced at 275£ per head. We were sat down for our meal at 10:30 after having waited for 1:15 minutes for our table. By that time the live music had ended. And towards the end of the meal we felt the staff were ready for us to leave. The food was very good but the experience was ruined especially for Valentine’s Day. For the grand total Price of £1079 with the wine. Absolutely ridiculous to impose a set menu without warning at that price. And then deliver a sub par experience. If a Michelin guide judge had been there I can guarantee they would have lost at least one star. Cherry on the cake, the waiting drinks were charged to us and no apology was given by the manager. I felt terrible for the young man dealing with waiting customers. He tried his best and was left alone by the manager who quite honestly should be fired. Typical experience of when restaurants forget that it’s their honor to serve you instead of your honor to eat their food.

   We had the most amazing experience! The setting of the restaurant is stunning. The Michelin notes around are really special. The staff were so attentive and kind for every single second. The food was incomparable. We had the lunch market menu and the dishes the chef chose were unbelievably incredible. We could not recommend highly enough. One of our highlights was that the Claude Bosi came and introduced himself personally, which we were thrilled by.
