Claude's Kitchen is a nice restaurant in an area full of tourist-focused spots. The decor is tasteful, and the place has potential as a good option for work gatherings.
The staff were friendly, and the food was enjoyable, though a few dishes weren’t served as hot as expected. As we were pressed for time, we didn’t mention it, but it’s worth noting for others.
There are, however, a couple of things that could be improved. The back section of the restaurant felt quite cold, which made it less inviting. Additionally, there was a noticeable smell from the restrooms at the back, which could do with being addressed.
One other point is about the service charge. It’s automatically added to the bill, but the card machine prompts for an additional tip, which led to us accidentally paying twice. Better clarity here would help avoid confusion.
If the temperature and restroom issues are resolved, my colleagues and I would definitely consider returning. The place has promise and could easily become a regular spot for work socials.
