We had high expectations for the restaurant as it was a long drive from Richmond to Burnaby. The carbonara was too hard to chew. I didn’t eat more the 1/4. I packed the rest home. Our server neglected our table. Seems like the server picks table who she wants to be nice to. The only good thing was the desserts: tiramisu and panna cotta was delicious It was a birthday celebration for my friend. We are both disappointed as this was our first time at this restaurant and we chose this restaurant based on the good reviews. This is our first and last time at this restaurant.

I loved the steak - best I have had in a long time! The pasta dish Boscaiola Campanelle was delightful, if you like mushrooms and pasta in a light creamy sauce, definitely get this dish. I'll be back!

Great gem place! Food was amazing. The service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a very cozy place.

Very dim and calming ambiance, very fitting for the cold, stormy and windy weather at the time. Service was quick and attentive given there was very little guests. I can’t fully recall our servers name but I believe it was Jess, open to conversation given how busy she was and made sure we left with a full belly and great service, would absolutely return if I was in the area during operation time :)

We were a party of 9, our table was not ready for us all- only 6 chairs so right away awkward for us standing around waiting. No personality from our servers and they seemed rushed and understaffed. The food was bland but large servings. Salads came out with entrees at same time while others were still waiting for theirs. We went there when they first opened and we loved this restaurant but unfortunately after this experience we will not return. Maybe just an off night for them and understaffed.

It is an excellent restaurant to go to! Perfect food, and great service. It is the best Italian food in Burnaby!

Great place to have some good quality food and just relax in a very pleasant atmosphere. One of the more decent Italian restaurants around. For my palate some of the dishes were overly salted, which took away some depth of flavour. I would recommend for the chef to sit back on salt and let the other ingredients dance more. Good value for money, overall.
