   Clay always meets my expectations. Starting with the friendly staff to the menu and cleanliness, and topped by the cozy ambiance. It is one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. For me, the food as well as the staff can make or break a restaurant!

   This is a terrific dining room—lots of light and wood surfaces— excellent, welcoming staff and there noise level was better than in most other venues in town. We all enjoyed our meals and will certainly be back and strongly recommend Clay to friends.

   Clay is a lovely spot in the Gardiner Museum on the third floor. The food is amazing and the service is awesome. However, CLAY is not a place where you can linger for lunch. Why? Because the person who sat us, asked if we could move to the bar because they needed the table space. I was like, WHAT?!! The host approached us and said, "We have limited table space unfortunately. So can I ask that you move to the bar as we have party of four that could use this table!" Not to make a scene, we moved but that's not cool. Otherwise I love CLAY and its a lovely spot, if you want a quick lunch.

    Always a solid spot for a business lunch. Love the space - light airy and roomy enough for private conversations. Portions continue to be unpredictable and on the small size.
