   Some phenomenally good food so authentic and true to the lands flavours, Clays Kitchen and Bar outdid themselves with the food we had last evening. Starting off with Masala kaju with some nice wine was followed with Apollo fish fry which was so flavoursome. The mains of methi paratha with clays chicken ghee roast was too good and the best was the Chicken Biriyani. Equal amount of chicken pieces and flavoured rice nicely blended together to make it a fiery combo. So authentic were the flavours that they were finger lickingly good. Only downside was we were forced to sit near the back door even though there were empty tables inside (till we finished our meal). The waitress was very stubborn that we can’t be accommodated somewhere inside and said because we booked late we were given this last table!

   I always enjoy visiting Clay's. Their food is truly remarkable and varied. Service was timely and discreet. An authentic experience of Indian food and far, far away from the standard UK-styled curries of your standard "Indian" restaurant.

   Lovely food, fresh and tasted delicious, some guidance on levels of spice was needed but waitress was able to help. It might be better if the menu gave some guidance in this regard too. Very happy with our choices and had a lovely meal, we will definitely visit again.

    Clay’s is one of our favourite restaurant’s and we’ve been customers since 2018. Amazing dishes, full of flavours and great spices. Nandana and Sharat, the owners, are lovely people and make you feel like you’re dining in their home. If you like great food then go!
