   Beautiful atmosphere and good service … however the bread was dry … felt like the savoury portion of the servings had been sitting around awhile !

   Marvelous atmosphere. Delicious food, personal touch in every detail. The favourites for me were salmon, egg sandwich and tartine. Definitely the love is added when creating those food items. Professional and delightful service. One of the experiences that is a MUST!

   The decorations and ambience are amazing. However, the server could not explain us even the selection of teas nor he walked us through the actual menu for the Afternoon Tea. The food was not fresh, it looked and tasted like it was out of the fridge for 4-5 hours. On top of that when I reached to pour milk in my black tea I found hair. I had high expectations, but unfortunately now I cannot recommend Fairmont Afternoon tea to anyone.

   It is the perfect spot to celebrate the holidays and, in our case, a festive birthday. Clockwork's Afternoon Tea is spectacular all year round, but in December, it's even better: tasty and filling, and there are many options for the teas. The seasonal treats were adorable and delicious, while the scones and sandwiches were fresh and yummy. The service was exceptional, and they accommodated one of our party's food allergies seamlessly and effortlessly. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back!

   What an amazing afternoon tea! The entire experience was simply perfect. The setting is at Clockwork in the middle of the Fairmont surrounded by beautiful Christmas trees and reindeer. Liah described all of the sandwiches and sweets and was extremely helpful throughout the tea. The variations of teas was superb with an eggnog flavour and an amazing Chai version. It was extremely festive. The sandwiches were substantial and fascinating- the smoked salmon and coronation chicken were some of our favourites but the roast beef on a croissant, tomato tart and lobster roll were all tasty and hearty. The value was excellent. The sweets didn’t disappoint either. The meringue snowmen and gingerbread cupcakes were superior S were the other chocolates and squares. The presentation was beautiful and the service impeccable. They were constantly checking on our hot water and if we needed anything. The scones with a special Christmas compote were a great finale! Liah even managed to get us some clotted cream. Overall this is one of the best afternoon teas we have attended around the world. We will definitely be going back to the Fairmont for their afternoon tea. Kudos to the entire staff and chefs.

    Although we were throughly impressed with the overall experience, there are just a few minor points forfeedback: 1. The waiters and waitresses should take a little more time to explain how the high tea works. Upon arrival, we were provided with a vast menu and were confused about which menu applied to us and if we were supposed to order our teas. We eventually learned how it worked but just a little brief explanation would have went a long way. We have been to any high teas in the past, all of which work differently so we were not sure how that one worked. 2. The brown chairs we were seated I were a little too low and could have been a little more comfortable if they were higher. Other than these points, it was the most superb high tea I have attended.
