Order their potatoes & shrimp sliders! We were lucky enough to get a reservation at their tree lighting ceremony and really enjoyed the ambience at Clockwork. Would definitely come back but for lunch next time (or afternoon tea!)

Clockwork staff was attentive and efficient. They checked periodically to see if we needed additional hot water in our tea pots. They explained each food item. We deducted some marks for serving whipped cream in lieu of clotted cream. There was no lemon (or citrus variant curd) paired with the scones. However, the holiday tea service had whimsy. The snowman lemon tart and the chocolate mousse Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer were delightful.

Great location for high tea! All the food was delicious and served at a great pace. Good selection of teas and the hot water was topped up at just the right intervals. Although not explicitly advertised, they are kid friendly! Overall, a great experience!!

I took my cousin for her 80th Birthday and we were not disappointed in the least! Service was impeccable and food was delicious as was the presentation. Overall a wonderful experience! Would definitely come back

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our High Tea at the Royal York. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Highly recommend it.

We had an excellent afternoon tea at the Royal York this weekend. The service was exceptional and the setting was beautiful and inviting. In terms of food our favourites were definitely the warm scones with honey butter and fruit chutney, along with the truffle egg salad mini sandwiches. They were very delicious! A very nice selection of teas, including green and oolong teas were available - including a spiced (chai) and our favourite - earl grey. As for dessert, the spiced pear bon bon was adorable, tasty and a nice surprise. The panna cotta and pumpkin tart were both delicious. The mood and setting were both very nice - a great way to spend an afternoon or for a nice celebration event. While there is a 1.5 hr time limit for eat seating, we did not feel rushed. We highly recommend a visit, especially with the new holiday menu coming up.

We had a wonderful time. Everything met our expectation and more. The only thing is that since it’s situated in the middle of the hotel lobby, it might not feel private sometimes.

We did the afternoon tea and also this was a great experience, we have been at the hotel a few times for drinks, eating at Reign etc like everything else it always a great place to be, great service and one of our favourite places down town.
