The coast by east is located at the end of the Großer Grasbrook, directly below the Marco Polo Tower and in the immediate vicinity of the Hamburg Cruise Center. The strikingly curved roof structure was designed by the architect collective EMBT from Barcelona and is modeled on the open flapping of a seagull's wings.
In the warm summer months, the window front, which can be opened completely, combines the spacious terrace and the interior restaurant area to form a large open space with high ceilings and a sophisticated lighting concept.
Discover the walk-in wine cabinet, the open bar with a decorative back buffet and the plant wall in the restaurant, which is completely planted with real plants, and let yourself be pampered by the team of head chef Thilo Haberland.

    Nahe dem Kreuzfahrtterminal erreicht man das Restaurant bequem mit der Hafenfähre Linie 62 über den Anleger Sandtorhöft. Die Metrobusse 3,4 und 6 halten direkt vor dem coast by east an den Marco Polo Terrassen und auch mit der neuen U-Bahnlinie U4 erreicht man die HafenCity problemlos.

    Eine kulinarische Reise und eines der besten Sushi-Restaurants, das ich weltweit kenne. Die Signature Cocktails als Starter sind nur zu empfehlen und sprechen sämtliche Gewchmacksnuancen an. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.

    Leider enttäuschend. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient aber der Laden war so kalt - zudem waren die Speisen absolut überteuert und das Sushi hat uns nicht sehr gefallen. Des Weiteren gehört dieser Laden wohl zu der no Cash Liste 😂 wir wurden quasi abgemahnt beim nächsten mal nur mit der Karte zu zahlen - es wird kein nächstes mal geben - Geld ist Geld - anscheinend habt ihr genug.

    Wegen Umbaumaßnahmen war die Lichtstimmung etwas zu hell. Sonst wie immer sehr gut.

    Location und Service sehr schön. Leider war es das dann aber auch. Preis-Leistung passt einfach nicht mehr. Viel Geld für wenig Essen. Schade, denn das Restaurant war mal sehr gut.

    Das Essen und der Service waren hervorragend…Durch die aktuelle Kälte war es etwas frisch im Restaurant. Aber wir kommen gerne wieder!

    Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und unser Kellner Stefan hat uns wunderbar "versorgt". Ein wirklich ausgesprochen angenehmer Service, gibt nichts auszusetzen!!

    Tolles Ambiente mit sehr guter asiatischer Küche. Getränke Sortiment top und das Personal sehr nett und wurden hervorragend betreut. Danke, ein gemütlicher Abend.
