    We had an exceptional afternoon celebrating my mothers birthday. The food was fantastic, the views amazing and Nathan (our server) was very polite, considerate of or wants and needs and it was a pleasure to have him look after us.

    Hello, I heard so many good reviews of this restaurant so I was excited to give it a try. The location is really nice. I ordered the sushi for a starter. I ate one and a fruit fly or net flew out of the other sushi rolls. So I returned those and tried the egg rolls. They were ok. I then ordered the Trout. It had no flavor at all. Not even salt and pepper. Very dry and didn't stand a chance. I didn't eat it. I told my waiter I didn't like it but he said I should try a dipping sauce. That didn't help. So I ate my sides and left. Still was charged full price. Not a good experience.

    As always Coastal Fish was perfection! Service, food, ambience, staff!! Our Air Force buddies, friends for 35 years, were in town. Coastal is our favorite restaurant in Memphis! Great job!!

    Have dined many times at Coastal and always find it a nice experience; except for last night. Please note that my rating is based solely on last night’s visit. Our server, Layla, was divine. She was sweet, attentive and very professional. The disappointment was the food. I ordered the gulf white shrimp risotto and it was an extreme disappointment. Completely tasteless and the shrimp was cooked to the point that they were tough and stringy. Horrible job in the kitchen, just being honest. We will go back because we love this place, but I know one dish I will never order again!
