Christina and Mike Grant, the owners of Coastal Kitchen, have created an experience that will delight and satisfy the most discerning guest. Fueled by their passion for food and a love of hospitality, the Grants have established Coastal Kitchen as the go-to spot in Dana Point. The menu is clean and fresh consisting of fish and steaks cut in house, great salads, freshly ground burgers and more. Coastal Kitchen has a full bar, patio with fire pits, and fresh coastal design.

Our mission is to deliver a quality dining experience in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere with a consistency that will bring guests back again and again. We look forward to serving you.

    We’ve been here a couple times. The food and service were awesome. Ribs, Crab Cakes, French Dip and the Cajun Shrimp are all amazing. Can’t wait to go back to try more of the menu. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you haven’t visited - you should!

    The service and the food was outstanding. We initially had a reservation at 7:30 and ended up staying at the bar with Shane who is a fantastic bartender! The shrimp cocktail was fabulous with the jumbo prawns and the cocktail sauce! The ribs were amazing, being originally from Kansas City, I’m hesitant to order ribs and these were super tender just fell right off the bone with a nice char! Overall, some of the best food in South Orange County!

    We've been to Coastal Kitchen three times and we always marvel at the quality of the experience. The food is eyes-roll-back-this-is-AMAZING! Seriously each item we've tried is simply beyond compare. Also, the waitstaff is perfection! They have a calm and friendly ease about the service. Very attentive, timely, and extremely knowledgeable about the food. Super friendly and conversational. When we ask for favorites we're always blown away at how good it is. Is this place Michelin starred?? If not it should be!

    We have been to Coastal Kitchen many times and have always enjoyed it. Went tonight to celebrate my sons 20th Birthday and had the worst service we have ever had there.

    Jared is a gem! I live locally and frequently visit Coastal Kitchen. Great place, great food and great atmosphere. Service is always outstanding!

    Sat at the bar and Zak was great; however, his partner, Kevin, was rude and condescending. Definitely wouldnt recommend sitting there when he is present. But food always consistent and good.

    This was such a great experience. From the hostess that greeted us to the waiting staff; pleasantly impressed with the service. The food was delicious, fresh, and worth the price level.
