It’s always so nice to try a different kind of food in Oaxaca when one has had enough of the typical meals. I love the Indian influence in the menu at Cobarde. The food was delicious as always and the place is beautiful and well situated across from Santo Domingo.

The restaurant was aesthetically very nice. There were low lights and candles lit. However, the food was okay. I ordered the chicken pad Thai which I thought was subpar. The broccoli and naan was delicious, however. My partner ordered a mezcal drink, but only took a few sips. I would recommend coming here for a glass of wine to enjoy the vibes, but could have done without this dinner.

Un Restaurante con una propuesta gastronómica diferente en Oaxaca qué fusiona diferentes estilos de cocinas Asia y Europa creando así su propio concepto, con ambiente relajado y buena música con una vista increíble al templo de Santo Domingo Recomendamos que prueben: El Pollo Tawa, Pescado Kosho y la Calabaza Dulce.

A disappointing experience. The food was just not good: the scallop appetizer looked beautiful but was completely overpowered by a one-note sweet tamarind sauce, and the octopus dish was so vinegary it was almost inedible. Service was friendly but slow. The ambiance was lovely, but whatever quality gave this place a Michelin Bib-Gourmand endorsement was very much missing. Would not recommend.

The food was very good, but not excellent. The service was polite and inept. I ordered a main course that was described in detail on the menu as a chicken dish only to discover that there was also pork in the dish. I don't eat meat, and haven't in many years. The waitress was not helpful and her associate, after reading the menu carefully decided to bring me something else. No apologies, no effort to see how I liked the substitute. No one ever came by to see how we were enjoying our meal. I expect more from a Michelin approved restaurant.

The flavors were wonderful. We especially enjoyed the Calabaza Dulce and the Kosho fish. We would definitely go again. We sat on the terrace and it was really relaxing after a full day.

La comida es muy buena el lugar lindo, pero se cayó nuestra copa bebida por un hoyo muy grande en la mesa, al momento de la cuenta les dijimos que pues es su responsabilidad las mesas estén bien que por atención pues no deberían cobrarla, la gerente se acercó de una manera muy prepotente y grosera nos indicó que si no nos alcanzaba ella la pagaba fue en extremo grosera, no regresaré y no lo recomendaría por ese tipo de servicios

Made a 7pm reservation and they changed my reservation to 5pm at 4:59pm without notice. I did not see the his change and was turned away when we arrived at 7pm. I showed the 7pm reservation email to confirm my reservation but unfortunately had to scramble to find another place for dinner. Very poor experience and would recommend you have a back up plan ready.
