While visiting us, why not pop into Cockburn’s Sweet Shoppe housed below our tea rooms. Sample your childhood favourites – our confectionary ranges from old fashioned Mint Humbugs and Chocolate Satins to modern day favourites like Bon Bons and Mega Sour Fruits. we had a very good lunch.three opted for the ploughman s which looked amazing and I was assured by all that it was excellent I myself was able to ask and receive poached eggs on brown bread and they were superb teas and coffees were hot and good our friends shared a stick toffee pudding with ginger ice cream and they said it was sublime my husband and I shared a warm fruit scone with jam and cream too delicious for words we will go again soon

Food, ambiance and service excellent. The food is all home cooked and beautifully presented. Unfortunately for the owners, the accommodation is very small and as far as I know, there is no access for a disabled person. I will be returning and have already recommended it to friends .
