    Food excellent as always. We sat at the bar and the service from the bar staff was less than acceptable… they were much more interested in talking amongst themselves and the wait staff than they were in serving their customers. Will be back - I’m sure many times, since we live in the neighborhood- but will likely get a table vs dine at the bar.

    The food is amazing. I had the short ribs, fried green tomatoes, collard greens(a lot of sugar in them), & the biscuits. I cleaned my plate(s). I will go back as soon as possible.

    Colleen’s Kitchen was charming and friendly from the moment we walked in. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! I would definitely eat here again and bring my friends.

    Prior to ordering my salad, I got up from the bar to wash my hand before eating. When I returned, my place at the bar had been moved to accommodate other people. Although my meal hadn’t been placed before me, I found it rude to move my seat without asking me. The salad with added chicken was fine, but the actions of the staff left a sour taste in my mouth.

    The grillades and grits was delicious! The biscuits were fluffy inside with a golden exterior-served warm with the whipped butter and tomato jam. The deviled eggs never disappoint. The juicy interior and crispy exterior chicken and waffle was exceptionally well made today. The Yardbird was made to order for us with an extra spicy flavor. The avocado toast was ok, and the only miss was the Mimosa with cranberry-too bitter and flat.

    Fantastic food as always!  Devine 🥰Chef Tom's Grillades + Grits* ancho braised short rib, vital farms scrambled eggs , crispy pickled red onion, red wine demi, barton springs mill cheddar - chive grits !! The peanut butter and chocolate pie was fabulous.
