   Seemed to have lost its vibe on this visit. Service was quite poor and slow. Food was okay but nothing thrilling. (The oil and presentation on the plate didn’t make it appetising at all for a Sunday roast!) Cleanliness of the restaurant could’ve been better, especially the dirty napkin that was left on the floor and was looked at on numerous occasions by the two members of staff that were working there, not being removed until mentioned.

   Excellent service and delicious food in a lovely warm atmosphere. Will definitely return. We also had a 3 year old with us and they had an excellent kids menu.

   Really nice friendly service. It was a quiet night when we went (Thursday) but atmosphere was still good. Food was not stellar - but perfectly fine. Would go again, for sure.

   Potatoes seemed like aunt Bessie’s, dinner Luke warm, carrots almost raw. Meat was good. Service was slow, seemed to lack enough staff.

   A quiet night in early January. Nevertheless an excellent menu and service. The food and beer is great. Everything done with a minimum of fuss and a smile.

    Had dinner at the College Arms on New Year’s Eve and it was a great experience. The set menu was great value with a great choice of options. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The staff were charming and attentive and the service was second to none
