Located on High Holborn, close to the British Museum, the restaurant is elegantly designed and filled with original Indian art and antique furniture including century old items made for Maharajas which take diners on a journey through Indian culture and history.

The menu reflects regional accents with a contemporary viewpoint. It is food that observes the established traditions of Indian cooking but breaks the rules a little by Executive Chef Sohan Bhandari. Our menu goes beyond a 1970’s “Curry”, beyond street food and into a world of real Indian flavours. Our signature dishes include our traditional lunch Tiffin, Khaati Rolls , Colonel Saab’s smoked lamb shank and figs poached in Assam tea cognac.

The bar is a great meeting place and afterwork destination serving signature house cocktails created to compliment the menu.

An authentic and unique, luxury Indian dining concept, in the centre of London, from award-winning entrepreneur Roop Partap Choudhary; your host, who meticulously crafted the menu and this art-festooned destination as a "love letter” to his family and India. The place is done up really well - interesting. But felt overpriced for the food. The prawn moilee was excellent, chicken was good and the fish tikka was bad. Dessert was good but there no misti doi taste in the cheesecake as far as I could tell!

A marvelous culinary experience with a perfect balance of flavors, every dish is truly delicious. The service is impeccable, and the staff are really friendly. I’ve visited Colonel Saab three times now, and I can only recommend it highly!

Went for a Saturday lunch, didn’t know they were not serving the tiffin or dosa on the weekend. The food was ok but doesn’t compare to other popular Indian eateries and for the price I expected better. Lots of people were having the afternoon tea which looked fun might try this. The service wasn’t the best as they seemed short staffed.

A great place to take guests to. The lunch service could be a bit faster as people are mostly in a hurry to get back to work but everything else was perfect.

We had an amazing experience! We went for the tasting menu (with cocktail pairings) and it was so worth it. Our waiter explained each dish in depth- where it was from and how it paired with the cocktail. We enjoyed our meal so much that we ended up coming back later in our trip!
