My husband and I dined here and enjoyed it- I felt compelled share what we ordered, given there were a few negative reviews about some of the other dishes. We were pleased with the following: Kumiai Oyster Short Rib Doraditas (tasted like birria tacos, ask for salsa) Creamy Green Rice with Poblano Pepper (this was surprisingly nice, not to heavy despite our waiter comparing it to a risotto) Red Snapper from La Paz (came with tortillas to make as tacos) Mexican Street Corn (I usually dont like this dish as it’s typically slathered with mayo, but this was a fresh take) This was more than enough for two people for dinner. The ambiance was very nice - on the water with live music.

Nestled above the waterfront of a luxe hotel, the service and atmosphere are very nice, and the menu is quite approachable if not overly inspiring. But the prices are punishingly high and non-sensical. A good Cava which is €9 in European supermarkets is $135 on the menu here. Champagne that is €130 or so at Michelin-level restaurants in Europe is $300 on this wine card. A side of mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes fries (less than 200g) is $24. These prices are hard to justify, except that there seems to be a predominantly American crowd willing to pay them. But relative to many top European - and even Mexican - destinations, the menu and style of cooking here simply doesn’t support this price point.

RUN - RUN - RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN - AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT!!! Ridiculously pretensious, overpriced (for what it is), inept service, horrific hostess, inedible mush - The Worst Meal I have had in ages And that says a lot considering we dine out 5 nights a week. How this place got a Michelin recomendation is beyond me.... I don't even know where to start - perhaps the generic Pisco Sour OR the mush called Blue Shrimp (?) OR the amaturish 'upselling' of menu items OR the bland and 'average' Kastakan, Doraditas, Kampachi?? An absolute comedy of errrors that started from the initial table seating all the way to the final bill. There are way to many great restaurants in Cabo to pay this price for such subpar service and food. Just outrageous! But, as promised- I have stopped my world to write about this abymsal excuse of a restaurant. On the Plus side - it is sleek and contemporary in a 'seen it up and down both east and west coast' kind of way. Good Luck

We dined on property last night. Very poor dining experience. Got to pay a server 30% automatically for poor service poor food and overall Bad experience. Save yourself ALOT OF MONEY…. Someone should tell Comal when you order a Tuna Tostado there should be some Tuna on it and Snapper needs to be cooked through.

The location and views are unmatched. Increíble. Cacao tortillas and the short rib “quesadilla” were phenomenal. The wagyu barbacoa, which incredibly tender, felt bland and lacking in flavor. However, the vegetable accompaniment was phenomenal. I appreciate that they have gluten free churros as well! It’s been ages since I’ve been able to enjoy those. That was a real treat.

Pricing was really not appropriate though the food was good. It’s too much of a rip off for the price.
