Opened in May 1975, Comic Strip Live is the longest running showcase comedy club in the world. Seven nights a week top comedians you've seen on television and the silver screen take the microphone on our world famous stage and prove why New York Magazine calls us, “The most expertly booked club in the city.” Many comedy legends have started their careers on our legendary stage including Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, and more. The tradition of nurturing new comedians continues with regularly scheduled open mics, new talent showcases, and stand-up comedy classes. The new comedians you see on our stage today might be the stars you see tomorrow! Voted AOL City Guide “BEST COMEDY CLUB”, Comic Strip Live features a light menu, full bar and intimate showroom. A new 9-foot projection screen makes it perfect for private or corporate events, movie screenings, and viewing parties.

    We have comedy shows every night of the week. Sunday- Thursday we have one show that starts at 8:00pm and runs for about two and a half hours. Friday and Saturdays we have two shows. One at 8:00pm and the other at 10:30pm, which both run for about an hour and a half.

      This was a comedy club. It was on a weekday night(wed) so there was only a few people . The crew and cast and servers made us feel comfortable by some audience participation. They stated that in a full house they would not have been able to create this. They gave us 2 free tickets after the show . The condition . Is to buy two drinks per person but it it well worth it. They have some bad food hamburgers and items you would see on a kids menu. Not for dinner by good for a date or for some Good laughs. We will definitely go back

      The comics were very good. The drinks are hideously overpriced. $12 for a bottle of beer? Give me a break.

      I had a great time. Mike Britt was a great host and it was so cool seeing someone from TV shows I love (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Luke Cage). The comedians made me cry of laughter even though I didn't know who most of them were. This was my second time going and both experiences were great. I will definitely go back.

      Didn't eat here. But enjoyed the required 2 drink minimum. Had many laughs. A great night out.
