   Tuna tostados were out of this world. Chicken sandwich great as usual. Wish they’d do a better Arnold Palmer here but if that’s the downside, I’ll be back here still!

   Service was horrible - didn’t check in on us, never brought drinks, delayed entrees. Food was mediocre - salads were soggy like they’d been sitting awhile, fries undercooked. Will not go back

   My husband and I had a reservation and we got there and saw so many open tables on the first floor. When we checked in they told us to go upstairs to a heated indoor patio, so we did. When we got up there the hostess put us at a tiny table in the back corner literally behind a couch. It was a terrible location, especially for having so many open tables on the main floor. We immediately said we wanted to be moved downstairs. The upstairs is not for just dining, that’s casual, bar like area with a lot of young people loud and drunk. I was annoyed but they did allow us to sit on the main floor. Our waitress was great, very attentive. Our food was good- the shoe string fries were delish, so were the eggrolls! We ordered the French onion soup dumplings but were a little dissapointed as there was no actual soup in them. Overall, a good experience but the first few minutes threw me off.

   We had been to The Continental in the past and we remember it as a great experience. We ordered the same things: French Onion Soup Dumplings and Cheesesteak Eggrolls. This time the Dumplings were not soft and were hard, overcooked and even difficult to cut. The cheesesteak egg rolls were way too salty. It was a bummer.

   I picked this on open table based on reviews and proximity to my friend’s hotel in Philly. I hadn’t been there before. They place has a mid-century, retro vibe and a cool sunken section in the middle. Food is good with a digestible-sized menu with lots of options. I have a pretty serious food allergy that the server took very seriously. She took notes on what I can’t have and kept coming back with safe options after discussing with the kitchen. Above and beyond! This place has AMAZING hummus!! Like, best ever! We both had the pad Thai with shrimp which was good. Sorbet for dessert. A couple of glasses of wine. Overall, really good!! We didn’t feel rushed and the server’s attention was spot on!

    Service was awful. It took our server about 10 minutes to even greet our table. Multiple managers walked right by us . We didn’t even have water glasses or water until our server finally greeted us. The server did not apologize for the inconvenience and was not friendly throughout the meal. Food was quick and pretty tasty. Service was just so bad that I cannot justify paying the prices for drinks and food. So disappointing.
