Welcome to Contrast Brasserie. With a sharp focus on Scottish, locally sourced produce, we invite you to savour the tastes of the season with a touch of Pan-Asian flair.

From succulent rare breed pork, prime dry-aged beef to market fresh fruit and vegetables we try to stay true to our Scottish roots, creating simple dishes built around one great ingredient.     My husband and I enjoyed an early evening dinner at Contrast. Our waitresses were very attentive and helpful and accommodated my request for a starter and main course from two separate menus. Our meals were well presented and of a high quality. We mentioned it was our anniversary and received an added bonus of a delicious dessert with the words “Happy Anniversary”. I could not fault anything and we will definitely return.

    Very friendly efficient staff . Ambience is what you would expect on a Wednesday night in January, the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Menu was Asian themed with grill option. Food good

    From the moment my friends from Holland and I walked into the premises the staff were on hand to welcome us and made us feel very good. The barman on duty at the Whisky Bar knew his stuff and we enjoyed the pre dinner drams he recommended. While enjoying the drinks the waiter then arrived to take us through the restaurant menu. The mussel soup he recommended we chose and it was beautiful. The main courses were equally sumptuous, the venison, sea bass and fresh catch of the day were all just perfect. The Contrast Brasserie and its staff are a credit to the Highlands and I will be back again soon.

    Starters were amazing! Crab & chicken toast. We asked if the fish could be breaded, no was the answer so obviously not freshly prepared. Battered fish covered in teriyaki sauce, not very nice. The fish special was not nice, seabass was fine however the slop under it was really horrible. Service was good, booking platform really easy
