A family-owned business, Cook St. Helena, is a neighborhood establishment through and through that continues to bring people together around fresh, handmade, delicious food in a warm, casual atmosphere. We opened Cook in 2004 to show the locals and tourists alike that food does not need to be complicated to taste great!

Excellent service from the time you enter! The food exceptional Italian, but all so fresh including house made pasta! Small almost off the radar! But so worth it!

Always have to get the calamari, mussels and 2 glasses of wine to start our Napa adventure. Sooo good!

We are visiting St Helena for the month. What a find Cook waas. A very small storerfront with small tables and wonderful food. We had the Ministrone sop, my wife thoght it was the best she ever had, the risotto special was fantastic and my wifes cavatelli was spectactular. Highly recommended!!!

Very warm and cosy Italian, buzzy atmosphere. I had mussels with sausage in tomato sauce followed by their daily risotto which was halibut and pomegranate, in a Parmesan broth. Both were amazing and my server was super attentive. I was kind of sad I couldn’t try more of the menu so I will try to go back tonight!

From Brook greeting you promptly at the door to Jorge at the bar and the incredible food, Cook never disappoints. Our meal was phenomenal, and we are huge fans!

Server was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. We had the mussels and homemade sausage appetizer. Mussels cooked perfectly, spicy sausage was a great addition to tasty sauce. I wanted to lick the bowl. We also had the risotto special which was Halibut on house risotto. Perfect sear on halibut. Risotto was outstanding- perfectly cooked and delicious. We also had the vegetable special which was brussel sprouts. These were ok but they are brussel sprout. Wine suggestion with dishes was appreciated.
