The food was delicious but we had a slight issue with service when we arrived. Upon being seated we had to wait for them to find us a server. And that took over 15 minutes. Our reservation was later in the evening (730p) but the restaurant was not full. Finally, Gabriel came and said even though he was supposed to be off at 8p he would be our server since NO ONE ELSE would do it. I found that quite strange. Regardless of this hiccup, Gabriel was top notch…Shout Out to him. I’d definitely return and possibly try to get a reservation earlier than what we had.

We enjoyed the food. The dining room was very noisy. We could not hear each other and it was difficult to hear the server. We had to ask her to repeat everything she said. Our server was not attentive, did not bring the pretzel bread till we asked for it and then she brought it to the table at the end of our meal. We had a difficult time getting our check.

It wasn’t my best experience. Food was good. Waitress definitely should have been more attentive. We will visit again, hopefully service will be better.

Your tasting room was a zoo. 25 people smashed into the bar with 20 more standing in a line, supposedly waiting for people at the bar to leave. But how soon does one leave when trying to do the eight wines? So one is left in the lurch. Noise level in the tasting room was very high. People were crowded in most parts of the room. We finally left and went upstairs for a dinner reservation at 7 PM. No tables available so ended up dining on the patio with the plastic screen and overhead heaters. Not terrible, but surely not what we expect from Coopers Hawk. (Waite time for a table inside was 45 minutes.) This has been our favorite restaurant in Annapolis since you opened, but no more. Since the tastings are pretty much out, will probably drop this membership, and maybe not come back for the restaurant. The price of success can be high!!!! Go back to required reservations for the tasting room???
