Cooper’s Hawk is my favorite restaurant in Des Moines. Excellent service and the best gluten free menu around. The wine selection is excellent.

We typically go to eat there every NYE or for birthday events and we love it. The food options along with the wine is amazing to the point where we’d buy a bottle for our dinner. Customer service is always a 10 out of 10 there and our seating area was not crowded. Pricing on everything for dining isn’t cheap but also not expensive for 2. Overall from a scale from 1 to 10… I’ll give it a solid 15 lol because you’ll love eating here. Thanks again Cooper’s Hawk!

Like other times recently, we were rushed through our dinner service. Main courses arrived two minutes after our salads. We needed to hold our salads over the table as we ate them since there wasn’t room for them to be on the table at the same time as our entrees which got cold while we were eating our salads.

I was disappointed in when having a reservation at 4pm and staff is standing around and empty tables are seen that we had to wait to be seated. When seated it took 5 min or more for someone to see that we hadnt had water served to us and the waitress wasn’t even supposed to work our table but did and she was very polite and did a good job. But I had requested to be placed in a more remote area when I reserved a table which there were tables open. We had 3 unruly children bumping into our table and there parents didn’t do much to discipline them. I almost was at the point of require move. When they did leave the wait staff did not clean up the messy floor left. We had bread crumbs on our table when we sat down. I’d it wasn’t for the food being delishes It would have been not worth my while.

What a great time at Coopers Hawk! Pebbles was our server. She’s amazing! Actually everyone we came in contact with was Amazing!!! Scott, the General Manager, came by our table a couple of times to make sure everything was good. Can’t say enough about Scott and his whole crew. Food, outstanding. Service, above and beyond. You’re missing out if you don’t go to Coopers Hawk in Clive Iowa.

Server was nice, polite, prompt, efficient. Answered all questions. Did was excellent. Wine was exceptional. Server was attentive throughout. Very move atmosphere. Quiet. Very relaxed ambience.
