Overall a nice experience consistent with CH standards. Only critique: Three of us had margaritas which were very salty and sour. One was returned, one did not get consumed and I ultimately finished mine, but really did not enjoy.

Made a reservation for dinner. Upon arrival we were told it would be about 15 minutes because they were running behind. We weren’t seated for a half hour. We sat at the table for one hour and three minutes before we received bread or water and meet our waitress. An hour and a half after arrival we still haven’t placed our order yet because no one came to take it. I have been to Cooper’s Hawk in the past and it was an outstanding experience! This location definitely needs an overall in Gurney.

Came in to celebrate our wedding anniversary as we do every year. Restaurant was running behind, we had a 4pm booking but were not seated until 4:20, we had our two children with us, it is not easy waiting with two children would have been nice to receive a call or text that you were running behind. I noted that at booking, the table cars said it, but no Happy Anniversary from the server like we normally get. We also did not receive the usual truffle at the end with a plate saying happy anniversary. My daughters steak was rare verses medium, so she refused to eat it. The server didn't offer to cook it more, a manager asked how everything was and I told her and she then offered to cook it more well after I had it all boxed up to give my dog. We were already there over two hours, my husband went to take the kids to the car as they were restless from waiting so long for food. Then the lat straw was when the bottle top to my wine that I wanted to take with me was not secure so wine spilled all over the carry out bag and I had to go back into the restaurant so they could reclose it which took another 10 minutes for us to wait. We don't get out much, but when we do it has always been Cooper's Hawk, but my last two experiences have been terrible. Never again at the Gurnee location, Never again.

Our waitress (Allie) was lovely and very attentive. She had to go on break and said someone else would bring our dessert; however, the person brought it minutes before our waitress returned from break. The other waitress said she forgot. Also, I ordered fruit with my burger and it was quite embarrassing to see how little I received (see photo).

Our server, Heidi, was excellent! She was very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. Our group was very happy with the service and the food. I’ll be back!

We had a reservation for 7pm and didn’t get seated until 7:45. Once we got sat the manager apologized and gave us our first round of drinks and apps on the house (definitely appreciated that). Unfortunately, we only were able to get ONE round of drinks the two hours we were there (which then was on our bill). When we asked for round two at 9:35(two hours later)… the bar was already closed. We weren’t told it was last call. Food was delicious as always just terrible service. We went for my husbands birthday, told the server a few times and it wasn’t acknowledge as the other two tables we were by were for their birthdays. Our server was friendly and was able to come back and fixed our bill.

Our reservation was for six. We didn’t get a table till 630. It was not a big deal. We understand it’s busy during the holidays plus we had a few drinks at the bar. The service was great. The food was not so great. The food is nothing more than prepared frozen foods. I was really looking forward to a great meal otherwise we had a great time and I got to spend a night out with my wife
