The person who took us to the table was very rude. She had asked me something and I couldn’t hear her and I said that I didn’t hear her. She then shouted at me what she asked. Then when I asked for a gluten free menu she gave me a nasty look and snatched the menu out of my hand. Other than that the waitress was fantastic and the food was excellent.

It was a great experience but slow service and almost felt like we were waiting there to try to buy more things. Our server was very nice and friendly but was in all different sections of the dining room and couldn’t focus on certain tables. With all the people on staff, just felt like it could be divided up better to pay more attention to certain tables areas. Food and wine were delicious however.

I booked a reservation through OpenTable at 6:15 for the bar area at Cooper’s Hawk. We got there a little bit before 615 and we’re told it would be a little bit of a wait as tables were not turning over that quickly in the bar. By 630 we were told that there would not be a table available in the bar and that they were going to put us in a booth in the dining room. As we made our way to the booth in the dining room, the hostess turned around and said that they were changing us to a table in the middle of the dining room. This was not acceptable as we wanted someplace a little less busy, hence wanting to be in the bar area. The manager came and talked to us, apologized for the miscommunication, and said that they were getting another booth ready for us. When the hostess came to seat us for the booth for the second time, she turned around and realized that they had already sat people in our booth. We eventually ended up taking three open seats at the very crowded bar instead of a booth in the bar area. The manager was kind enough to comp our first round of drinks, but for a 6:15reservation we did not sit down until 7 o’clock. I understand that it’s close to the holidays and it was a very busy Friday night, but it seems as if the reservation software that they are using did not allow the dining room and host staff to be able to seat people properly in accordance to how the kitchen was running and turning out food that evening. definitely not my best experience at Cooper’s Hawk.

We made an early reservation to enjoy a quieter dinner. The server was wonderful and the food was good as always. I was a little confused with my wedge salad as it had an oil and vinegar dressing on it in addition to the sparing blue cheese dressing. Either way it was delicious.
