Sunday reservation at 5pm. Every table filled. A bit noisy with polite chatter. A peaceful environment with polite staff. The food was perfect and just a small kitchen delay due to peak dinnertime. The Trio was delicious.

Made reservations for our first wedding anniversary dinner a week in advance and had no issues getting in at the right time, had a wonderful server and our food and drinks came out quickly. The food was fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening together! Thank you Cooper’s Hawk!

Wonderful evening and atmosphere allowing us to spend a pleasant evening with friends. The New Lenox Coopershawk is always an enjoyable evening!

Cooper Hawk was busy as usual but we were seated on time and had a nice meal. New server but you could hardly notice as she was great through your entire evening.

As a frequent visitor to Cooper’s Hawk, the food is always wonderful. This was the first time I had had Chelsea as a server and she was really delightful. So friendly and efficient and personable.

The food and ambiance were excellent, and our server was amazing. However, since we booked a late dinner (8:30 PM and we weren’t aware they closed at 9 PM), one of the staff in the wine area approached us and was being unnecessarily pushy, which was apparent in her attitude and facial expressions. To clarify, I did not give her any attitude and was polite and respectful throughout the interaction, until the very end when her persistence became frustrating. Once we were about ready to get the check from our main server, the wine person approached our table and asked if I was a wine club member. At that point, it was clear she was eager to leave for the day, even though there were still diners in the restaurant. I confirmed I was a member, and she asked which wines I wanted. I honestly didn’t know, as I wasn’t planning to take any bottles home. She handed me a pamphlet with the available wines, and I told her I would probably wait and come back another day to pick up my bottles. She acknowledged this, but just a minute later, she returned and asked again if I had decided. At that point, I could tell she was being unnecessarily pushy, and I felt pressured. I told her I hadn’t decided yet but would look at the list. Two minutes later, she came back with the same impatient attitude and asked again. Frustrated by her persistence, I hastily picked some bottles and let her know. She returned with the bottles and left. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

Our server Trevor is an absolute gem! He shared with us why he's been with Cooper's hawk for so long and the generosity shown by the company during Covid, in particular. He was on point with his menu and drink suggestions, and he was attentive without being annoying. :) The perfect evening with colleagues for the holidays with delicious food, tasty drinks, and excellent service.

Food came out and was not warm enough for our liking. We asked our server to remedy the situation and he did so politely and efficiently and well received food that was the proper temperature and delicious.
