Overall could improve, churrasco steak was cold and not cooked as requested and for kids they didn’t bring the fruit and drink that says on the menu are supposedly included.

We dined with our three year old and their kid's menu is great. My husband and I were thrilled that we could go out for a nice meal and have so many options for our child. The portion for the kids menu is generous.

The food tasted like upscaled Chilli's but much more expensive. We ordered $50 surf and turf. The filet mignon medallions were hard to cut and extremely dry and chewy. The lobster tail, which was stuffed with crab meat, had so much sauce, the delicate flavor of both crustaceans was totally obscured. And it took them over an hour to get us our food. Our waitress was nice and seemed apologetic at first but after our dishes were brought out, she completely forgot about us. She had only brought one steak knife with our meal, but because she was m.i.a., we had to take turns sharing it. Pretty disappointing. This, btw, was the Oak Park location.

To start let me say this was one of my best places to enjoy wine and food. I have been here on many occasions for holidays, special occasions and just to sit and drink wine. On Valentine's Day everything started well then went down hill fast. To make a long story short after two hours of repeatedly being told our food was coming out we up and left. A manager stopped by once after an hour in and never checked on us again, when we were ready to leave the first time our server stated the manager was coming over but after 20mins we got up found our server tipped him for doing his job the best he could and proceeded to walk out and not a single manager or supervisor tried stopping us to apologize or talk to us. That was my worst and last experience at Cooper's Hawk.

Had reservations for 2 at 6pm for Valentine's day. Waited almost 2 hours for entrees that never came. Had to switch to a to-go order because our parking was about to reach the 2-hour mark and the food still wasn't ready yet. At some point our waiter completely ignored us since he didn't know how to handle the situation to the point where we had to ask a food runner for water refills. We were going to order another round of drinks also to help pass the time but after being ignored for at least 30 minutes and reaching the 2-hour mark we decid3e we'd rather try to salvage the night at home and switched to a take-home order. Still had to wait 30 minutes more for that. Spent $180 (not including tip) on a meal we didn't even get to enjoy during our reservation on valentine's day. The excuse they kept giving everyone that the kitchen was very behind because of the holiday. Everyone else around us seemed to be getting part of their meals or drinks comped if they demanded to speak to a manager but I didnt want to be that person. Nothing was comped, no discount, didn't even throw in a free bread roll for the horrible service and ridiculous wait. I'm glad I canceled my membership. Will be going to NRebozo for holidays from now on since Chef Paco knows how to run a kitchen properly.

The waitress was very professional and attentive. I had the salmon and my friend had steak, both of which were very good. I was a bit disappointed in the dessert, which was key lime pie. I’ve had it here many times and today it just did not taste the same. I bragged about it before convincing my friend to share a piece, but I’m guessing they have changed the recipe. Overall, the experience was very good and I will dine here again.
