Food was fine, we got the turkey meal, nothing to write home about at all. Almost tasted like a microwave dinner. The soup though AMAZING! We should’ve tried something else. Service was pretty awful. We got here at our reservation time and had to wait 15 more minutes. Then we got sat and NO ONE came. I finally walked over to someone and she said she would take the table but she wasn’t sure who our server even was. Middle tier food and low service

The food was excellent. Only negative was the server gave us our bill before she brought the dessert .

We made our reservations for 4:00 on Thanksgiving. We were offered their regular menu and a special menu for Thanksgiving, which is what we ordered. It included butternut squash soup, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, carrots and green beans. It also included dessert, a slice of pumpkin praline cheesecake for believe it or not, $34.98. We started with an appetizer which we didn’t need, flatbread with feta and grilled tomatoes drizzled with balsamic. Crazy delicious! The soup was good and there was a generous serving of turkey, including a small portion of dark meat. The mashed potatoes were also good and the stuffing was okay. I am very picky about stuffing. It was mostly bread and I think I saw carrots in it but regardless it was bland. There was also gravy. The vegetables were awesome and the dessert was excellent. I had an espresso martini and my husband an old fashioned and beer. I ended up taking some dinner and dessert home. Our waitress, Sunshine, was pretty great too.

This was our first visit to Coopers Hawk Winery and Restaurant. It was Thanksgiving day at lunch time. It was extremely busy and noisy. Everyone was crowded into the dining rooms since they were accomadating so many people. We will have to go back when its less busy. Food was good, service was great. Could not have asked for a better waitress.

Great food. Good wine. Efficient, friendly service. Food Paired well with suggested wines. Many menu options due to the holiday. Happy to find a restaurant opened on Thanksgiving. But it was evident that the restaurant staff was ready including valet parking, seating options chosen with reservations. Staff equipped with blue tooth system to quickly indicate cleared tables with that staff clearing the table.

This was our very first Thanksgiving meal outside of our homes…ever. We decided last year to try it this year, and we were very pleased! The soup was delicious, the meal was huge, followed by a great desert. Our waitress, Ashley, was the best we’ve ever had there! The best part? NO DISHES TO WASH. We’ve already decided to do it again next year.

My sister-in-law planned our Thanksgiving dinner at Coopers Hawk after we visited cemeteries to place Christmas flowers on family graves. Our experience was as wonderful as we expected it to be!

We had a lovely meal. I appreciate that it was open. We had to change plans as my daughter had to go back early so we needed to take our family meal to RVA. Ashley was a very sweet & knowledgeable server. Everything came timely and tasted great. I'd love if we could have one in our area. Coopers Hawk is one of my favorites.
