My husband and I stopped in after a doctor's appointment nearby, so I could pick up my November wine. He had jambalaya, which is always great. I had a simple chicken Caesar salad. I felt it could have used a bit more fresh lemon juice in the dressing. The service was excellent.

Everything was amazing. Christine was our waiter. She was. Attentive without hovering. We received information about the specials and how many bottles we have available. Food was excellent.

I ordered the beef medallions for 34.00. I received 2 small tough pieces of beef, 3 small potatoes, 2 skinny asparagus. Sent it back, waited 20 minutes for a salmon replacement. Not a good night. The Manager apologized, removed my meal and gave us a coupon for a future entree.

I had heard about Cooper’s Hawk and was dying to try it out. I don’t know if we came on a bad night, but the service was terribly slow — I had one of the specials of the night, and my waiter didn’t bring the paired wine until after I was done with my meal (even after I pointed it out, it still took him 15 minutes to get it). My wife’s grouper had flash burn and the vegetable portions were small. We actually speculated that they had precooked and warmed up the meals before serving. It was loud and too chain-ish (like an Applebees for wine). Really disappointed and was expecting way better.
